10 Tips In Better Photography

Filed under: camera — admin @ 1:20 am

Taking a good photo isn’t as hard as you may think. You don’t need the most expensive camera or years of experience, just 10 simple tips.

Enjoy!

Tip 1 - Use All Your Available Space

Don’t be afraid to use all the space in your photo. If you want to take a picture of something, it’s ok for it to take up the whole shot with no or very little background showing. Keep distractions out of your shot

Tip 2 - Study Forms

This is a vital aspect to photography. Understanding forms in your photos. Don’t see an object, she its shape and its form and find the best angle to photograph it from. Form is all around us and I highly suggest you read as many books on it as possible.

Tip 3 - Motion In Your Photos

Never have motion in your photos if you are photographing a still object. If there is something moving while you are trying to photograph a stationery object, your photo won’t turn out anywhere near as well. Also never put a horizon line in the center of your frame.

Tip 4 - Learn To Use Contrasts Between Colors.

Some of the best photos have shades of white, gray and black. You can take great shots with just one color on your subject, but the contrasts between colors in a shot is what makes you a great photographer.

Tip 5 - Get Closer To Your Subject

This is one of the biggest mistakes most photographers make, not getting close enough to their subject. Get up and personal and close the distance gap. You can always reshape and resize a good shot but you can’t continue to blowup a distant object.

Tip 6 - Shutter Lag

Shooting action shots with digital camera’s can be tricky due to shutter lags. What this means is, when you press the button to take the photo, it can take up to a second for the shutter to take a photo, by that time what you were photographing would have moved or changed somehow. This means you have to compensate for shutter lag by predicting what your subject is going to do and taking the photo just before it takes the action you want. More expensive digital cameras don’t have this problem.

Tip 7 - Pan

If you are taking an action shot and your shutter speed is slow, pan with the object. Follow through with the subject, from start to finish and one of those shots will be a winner. You have more chance of getting a good shot if you take more then one photo.

Tip 8 - Continuous Shots

To pan like I suggested above you will need a camera that does continuous shots and doesn’t need to stop and process after every shot.

Tip 9 - How To Take Fantastic Night Time Shots

Night time shots can be spectacular, almost magical…. if done right! If not they can look horrible. Really horrible. Without adequate lighting, even good camera’s can turn out crappy photos if the photographer doesn’t know what he or she is doing.

Tip 10 - Study Your Manual

If your digital camera has a special night time mode, read the manual and follow their instructions on how to use it properly.

Spy on the Family

Filed under: camera — admin @ 1:03 am

The recent explosion of high-tech gadgets for the Home has spurred an increased interest in all forms of Home Surveillance. It has become easy and inexpensive to set up, all by oneself, a Camera System with monitor and recorder to protect the premises and discourage would be intruders or burglars.

One of the available options, as widely known, is to hide the camera into some everyday item in order to perform surveillance in a discreet way, without letting the observed persons know they are being spied upon.

Spying upon unaware people may be legal or illegal depending on the circumstances. In general it is illegal to commit a breach of privacy. It would be legal to check the behavior of nannies or caretakers in charge of babies or old people, because no privacy is involved.

Imaginative people may think that surveillance with a hidden camera could be applied usefully also against the strictest family. Although we know that one can disagree with us, we would like to stress that it is not a good idea.

It is not a situation to be scrutinized only from the legality point of view. Being it a proof of essential mistrust, it should not be tolerated in the family. Not only that, the discovery of a spying plot in the family might precipitate a frail condition with serious and possibly unexpected outcomes, always painful.

Old wisdom has it, believe it or not, that ignorance is bliss. Classic tragedies are often based on nasty secrets suddenly revealed. Do not let technology decide on behalf of your own life or your family. We wish to strongly dissuade from improper use of a hidden camera. You know what we mean.

A covert camera should not be implemented to resolve difficult family relationships. Other means like frank discussion, counseling or professional assistance are more suitable to bring about a successful outcome. Compromised situations in interpersonal relations can sometimes be mended, possibly with external help, if they are taken care of, the sooner the better.

Instead of installing a hidden camera to spy on your family, think in advance dispassionately, with logic, not overwhelmed by emotions, of all possible consequences. Innocent creatures may have to sustain pain, anguish and all the burden of an impulsive decision, and be made to pay for someone else pride and arrogance.

Is it worth it at all? If anybody already decided to break, he/she should assume full responsibility, and do it with elegance, with courage, openly, without looking for pretexts.

Professional Spy Stuff

Filed under: camera — admin @ 1:09 am

There are plenty of spies stuff around that is in use for amateurs and regular consumers. However, if one is serious about starting a private investigator business, or about offering professional surveillance services, it is essential to have some professional spy stuff. Clients won’t take you seriously if you do not have the proper equipment. While it can be fun and useful to have some the smaller stuff, the truth is that there is plenty of high tech equipment, available at a reasonable price, that can help you get your professional business off the ground.

Professional grade listening devices are a must in any arsenal of professional spy stuff. These go beyond the pens outfitted with mics and get into some serious listening ability. Listening devices that can allow you to hear what is being said 300 yards away are ideal for many professional jobs. Simply hook your device into a high tech recorder and listen and record at the same time. It is even possible to use devices that cancel our background noise, allowing you to hear the object of your surveillance much clearer.

Another piece of spy stuff is some sort of night vision accessory. Many operations are done under cover of darkness, and it is important to be able to see without creating a light that could draw attention to your location. Night vision is not just about those goggles that you wear on your head; it is also possible to get binoculars and monocular that can aid you in seeing at night. The best devices do not rely on stars or the moon. This means that you can do surveillance in any kind of weather, no matter how cloudy or dark.

There is no reason why you can’t have a professional business with professional grade spy stuff. There are plenty of Web sites that offer equipment at reasonable prices that are affordable to the start up surveillance professional. While such equipment will cost a little more, you will show clients that you can handle any job when you have professional equipment that proclaims that you only use the best when it comes to your spy stuff.
